I’m Michael Stephan, and I have 20 years of experience in the mortgage and real estate industries.
A true mortgage professional’s job is to do more than just help someone acquire a loan. I believe in educating clients so they understand the mortgage process. I have built my reputation on quick and efficient responses to each and every one of my clients’ needs and concerns. My phone and email are always close at hand.

One of the most gratifying parts of my job is tailoring the mortgage experience to meet my clients’ needs. Some people want a brief checklist to follow, while others prefer detailed explanations and a complete understanding of what they’re doing and why they’re doing it. Either way, clients can count on me and my team to deliver an exceptional experience.
I believe it is my duty to help educate my clients throughout every step of the process; arming clients with accurate information and financial insights enables them to make the best decision possible.
Communication is the key to a good working relationship. I pride myself on being available 24/7, staying in touch and never leaving a client wondering about the status of the loan.
I have a comprehensive view of the entire home buying process. Before becoming a loan officer, I was in new homes sales management, and I started my career as a Realtor in 1995. I have worked in every aspect of the business including realtor, counselor, management and loan officer. I absolutely love this industry, because I enjoy helping people and families realize the dream of home ownership.
Native to Texas since 1976, my wife and I have enjoyed raising our blended family of five children in the Lone Star state. We both love San Antonio for its warm hospitality, friendly people, rich culture and arts scene and the many outdoor activities the city offers.
I take great pride in helping others get into their homes. Take a look at how I helped Sean and Nancy get into their new homes while serving to best meet their needs.
